The 2019 WeQual Awards culminated in a celebratory awards dinner, brilliantly hosted by Sandi Toksvig (co-founder of the Women’s Equality Party) and guest speaker, Dame Inga Beale, former CEO of Lloyd’s of London.

Katie Litchfield created the WeQual Awards to identify and recognise world-class women executives, one level below the Executive Committees in UK FTSE businesses.
It remains abundantly clear that women remain underrepresented in the FTSE 100 and 250. Businesses report sobering gender pay gap figures and the government-backed Hampton-Alexander Review continues to expose the imbalance in the Executive Committee appointment rate.
The WeQual Awards seek to reach and honour the women on the cusp of leading the UK FTSE companies.
The evening celebrated a fantastic group of finalists and presented a wonderfully uplifting range of perspectives of possibility and progress, with stirring speeches from Dame Inga Beale and John Amaechi OBE.
