The campaign highlights businesses ranging from innovative, rapidly growing digital tech, advanced engineering, environmental science, specialised manufacturing and marine industries through to sophisticated food, drink and creative industries.
When Transition Tradition began in 2006, there was a sense that large clients had a ‘London-centric’ view of the UK. Having a London office conferred legitimacy and being based elsewhere could be misconstrued as lacking connectivity or ambition. Happily, in the last sixteen years that myopic view has shifted. As a boutique consultancy, our clients, from FTSE 250 businesses and international corporations to SMEs and not-for-profit organisations, hired us on recommendation, presence and value. The fact that we were travelling from Devon was irrelevent as long as we delivered! Nonetheless, on occasion, a little self consciousness about being Devon-based would resurface. The area has always been full of natural attractions and no client has ever questioned why the team love living here. What is wonderful about the ‘Devon Delivers’ campaign is the juxtaposition of that outstanding natural environment with the growing number of businesses and organisations that make Devon such an invigorating place from which to create impact.
