UK Taiko Drumming Festival

On Saturday 4th July, the UK Taiko Festival for Taiko drumming returns to the Exeter Northcott to celebrate its fifth anniversary. Taiko drumming combines strong rhythms with highly choreographed movement creating an exciting visual and sonic experience that you can see, hear and feel. With an ever-growing national and international reputation, this year the UK Taiko festival will bring a record number of taiko players to Exeter from across the UK and from Japan.

National Youth Taiko Concerts, featuring groups from Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire, London, Midlothian, Nottingham, Shropshire and Somerset. Different groups perform in each of the two shows.
