Meet The Screenwriter - Hugh Ellis

How difficult is it to get your dream feature made? This is a chance to put your questions to Hugh Ellis, screenwriter of the award winning film Summer.


Prior to working on the award winning film Summer, Hugh has written scripts for T.V. including episodes of The Bill and The Morticians Tea Party as well as wirting and directing short films. Hugh will be joined by Actor, Director, Peter Ellis who has worked in theatre and for T.V. for a number of years, including working as an actor with Ken Loach on In Two Minds. Summer was made by Ken Loaches company, Sixteen Films.

Hugh and Peter will also be discussing the impact of new media and media ownership. This event will be of great interest to film-makers, aspiring writers and media studies students.
