Sticker, Star and Tape

Sticker, Star and Tape offers a nice variety of catchy, foot-tapping, sing-along tracks that give an easy listening pleasure. The downfall of this EP is the lack of that one outstanding track or hook which, either makes you think 'wow, I don't care who this is I like it!' or 'this is obviously Sam Isaac'.

The sound here is noticeably Scouting for Girls-esque which, for Scouting fans may be enough but in order for Isaac to find his own audience the lack of an Indie 'X factor' may hold him back.

The high-points are undoubtedly the two remixes of the title track with electro twists, offering something a little more idiosyncratic yet also broadening appeal into the clubs.
