An expert in leadership education and learning transfer, Sam has been designing and delivering impactful coaching, development and training for private and public sector clients since 2006.

Most notable are her flagship programmes developing organisational leadership capacity in highly regulated industries such as aviation, civil nuclear, education and care.

She is an experienced leader with the ability to inspire confidence amongst diverse stakeholders and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects and partnership initiatives.

In 2006, Sam was selected as a UK Creative Pioneer by NESTA. In 2010 she was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Centre for Leadership studies at University of Exeter. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the RSA.

Ben specialises in delivering leadership and organisational development interventions. He works with both senior leaders and teams to augment leadership in context, drawing upon his extensive experience of leading within complex systems, including as Clinical Director for Psychological Services and the Allied Health Professions in the NHS.

Ben studied Strategic System Leadership Development at Yale Business School and trained in clinical psychology at UCL. He has recently been Programme Lead for the Leadership and Transformational Change PGCert. at the University of Exeter and Strategic and Clinical Lead for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services across Kent and Medway.

Partnering with clients to design and deliver leadership and organisational development interventions, Lucy works creatively and honestly with individuals, teams and organisations to enable them to tackle complex challenges and achieve sustainable results.

She has significant experience of leadership at executive board level in higher education and the public sector.

Her previous roles include Director of Human Resources at the University of Gloucestershire and Head of Organisational Development at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

Jonathan specialises in organisational development, design, and the implementation of sustainable change, supporting individuals, groups and organisations to develop insight, shared goals and collaborative progress.

He has extensive experience in the third sector providing guidance to a range of statutory and voluntary sector services.

Alongside his consultancy work for Transition Tradition, he continues his leadership work in health and social care, working with national partners to deliver key government initiatives both within and across organisational boundaries. 

Jonathan is an accredited CBT practitioner, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.

Joanne is an independent consultant and coach. She supports people and organisations through change and transformation. Her background is as a highly experienced, empathetic, innovative and resilient leader in the cultural and charities sectors.

An accredited Executive and Leadership Coach, Joanne enables leaders to optimize their impact and performance.

Joanne has significant experience at an operational and strategic level within a large public sector organisation and as Executive Board member and Trustee. 

Her previous roles include Interim Chief Executive and Head of Service Delivery at a leading UK charity.

Tom McLaughlin is an author and illustrator with over 20 years of experience in bringing stories to life through drawing. Tom spent nearly 10 years as a political cartoonist and is used to working quickly, to tight deadlines, in order to communicate ideas visually. The Transition Tradition team love working with Tom to help clients clarify thinking, surface assumptions, create alignment, generate new concepts, communicate vision and much more.

Ciara has worked at a senior level across a number of sectors, including the arts, social enterprise, the public sector and higher education. Throughout her career, Ciara has developed substantial experience of leading transformational change and innovation. She was the founding CEO of Libraries Unlimited, a public service mutual and has held a number of significant national roles, including a current non-executive role as National Council member for Arts Council England.

Alongside her coaching and consultancy practice, Ciara is a Professor of Practice at the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter where she leads on external engagement. Ciara was awarded an OBE for services to libraries in 2017 and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Sheffield.
